Starting up commissions
Hello all. I'm actually visiting deviantART regularly now, at least more so than I was before. So I'm starting up commissions again here on dA. Read through the general info first and then messages me if you're interested!
2019 coming to a close
Hello everyone. It seems like I make one journal entry every year here on dA. Life in the real world is busy. I recently moved to Orlando, FL from my home town of Port Saint Lucie, FL. Big change. Transferred to the Orlando location of the same company i've been work for for over a year. But this location is much busier than the one down south. So I'm working much harder. I graduated Indian River State college with my AA in Art, and the reason I moved to Orlando is so I could go to UCF to get my bachelors in art and hopefully move on from there to get my masters. I'll be starting that in the spring of next year. With the move and dealing with some personal stuff, I having been creating as much as i would like, but I have actually created more in the past 3 months than i had in the month prior to me moving. I have more space up here to draw than i did back in my parent's home. the recent uploads i just did are almost everything i've done in the 3 1/2 months i've been up here. It's hard being away from my family, and my close friends down south, and having roommates is a new challenge, but i think it was good for me to get away. I can't promise I'll be more active. I would like to. I still have 1.1k followers on here. Much more than what I can get on Facebook or Instagram without paying for promoting. I suck at managing my social medias, i have no idea how people get thousands of followers on there lol But hey, if you guys have either facebook or instagram look up my pages. On facebook use my full name to better find me Alysia Ariana Harris, make sure you look for my art page because i will not accept friend requests on my personal account from people i don't know in person or well. On instagram i believe it's just Alysia the artist, but I bet if you searched Alysia Harris you'd find me too. I'd appreciate the likes and share if you can! I'm going to try and draw more. I have a few WIPs that i would like to finish before the year is out, because once i get into my spring classes, I'll probably be creating school projects more than personal pieces. But i have some digital works in the works, a prismacolor drawing that's almost done. I haven't done one of those in such a long time, because they take to much time. So hopefully you'll see more of that before the year is out. I still want art to be my life, even though I work a fulltime job as a merchandiser in a large company. I have got to try for my ultimate dream, because i don't want to settle for something else because it's already here. Wish me luck!

2018 update
The Ending of 2016
And both jobs are retail, and it's this time of the year. Both jobs are crazy busy and I'm pulling like 40 hours a week from both. And on the weekends, which are the worse, I work both jobs in the same day, so opening one at 8am and closing the other at 9pm. And I am not a morning person, so waking up at 6:30am every day to get ready is not fun for me. I'm am very tired when i get home, and on my days off I've been preparing for Christmas. I tell you all this to explain why I haven't been here and why I haven't worked on my art in a bit. I have a few drawings/paintings in progress right now. But I'm so tired I don't get around to doing anything with them. The only one I've been putting work into it the commission I have, which is almost done. But after things calm down and I get this commission done, you will be seeing more work from me. I'll also be tending to the new group I made but haven't gotten the chance to really maintain to do anything I've really wanted to do with it yet. I know for a fact, around with time last year, I wouldn't have been able to handle two jobs and commissions, not with how overwhelming my emotions were at the time. I couldn't never understand how people could handle two jobs or more, but now I can, so I'm really proud of myself. People may not think it's anything all that impressive, but if you were who I was last year, you'd be impressed too. And on top of that I hate my new second job, it really brings me down when I go in. But you know... money Anyway, I really want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and and the rest of the year. I probably wont see you until after New Years

Just a silly question
But how many of you live in Florida? I don't know if you already know, but I live in Florida, love it here. But I don't have a lot of opportunities to interact with other artists, of any skill level and style, ever since I took a break of art school. And I'd love to make relationships with other artists because you all are so interesting. Most of the artists I've met through here do not live near me, so I really can't physically interact with you guys. But let me know just how many of you are actually in the same state as me, that be really cool to know thank you.May God bless
