Description
This is the sculpture I did for my sculpting class at college. I had to paint her last minute, so i just painted her gold and added some aging elements to it. I called it The Sufferer, but it can go by other names... the idea is, since i made her look so tired, or dead, or gaunt, that she represents people who suffer, but put on a pretty face everyday to go to work or to hang with friends, when inside they feel like falling apart. So the gold represent the
pretty face', but her own face betrays her feelings.
Medium use: Clay, gold leaf paint, acrylic..
