I really like the combination of the dark skin and the gold tail, my first attempts at drawing a mermaid like this didn't work(here[link]), but I tried again and I like how it came out
I used Zoe Saldana as a ref. When I was looking for pictures of her to draw this mermaid I came across another one that I liked. I really wanted to use both so I decide that I'm going to do painting of her as this mermaid next time I'm really sorry for the ugly clouds in the background... I do not know how to draw clouds.... Anyway, hope you all like!!

The only thing that isn't perfect in this picture is the sky. It looks like you drew it very fast to finally finish the picture, and there are too less shadings in the sky and the clouds.
Nonetheless a great drawing!
Yeah, I didn't really know what I was doing regarding the clouds... But I did do some shading on them, they actually have blue and yellow on them, but the stupid scanner washed it all out mopletely! And now they look like white blobs
