Egyptian Goddess by MyWorld1 Egyptian Goddess by MyWorld1
She's no one in particular, she was going to be just a Egyptian queen, but I wanted to do wings so she turned into a goddess. She can be which ever goddess you would like:)

Prismacolors pencils used.

Brilliant drawings!!! I'm always interested to learn about ancient civilizations; plus the colors and shading here are brilliant.

If you're interested, I have some similar works (feedback welcome) :)joyhorse13.deviantart.com/art/…

I used Prismacolor pencils, and very little bit of acrylic paint, mostly for the highlights.

It must be a great deal of time you put into these works. The variable pressure you need to use to get the number of colors you use is amazing to me.

Yeah.. lots of layering of colors.... I can't get the right gold color or skin tones without layering. Thank you very much:)

This is a very good drawing with nice details as usual, but in some way the legs don't fit to the rest of the drawing, because you've kind of stopped drawing details there. Do you know what I mean? There are shadows and creases everywhere, but the legs seem kind of boring compared to the rest.

Thanks! That's why I added the red to the bottum, but I just wanted her dress to be a very shiny dress, and not much else... that by itself would be stunning..

I can definitely see some Isis, Hathor, and Maat in this Egyptian goddess. Maybe she's a composite of these particular goddesses. Still, it's good work. The colors are all so splendid.

Ahhh, thanks for answering that! Do you use a regular paintbrush, like a really small one? The effect is awesome! :)

no problem:) I used a toothpick for the really tiny dots, like on the jewelry. And if I need to use a paint brush I use the smallest tipped one I can find.
